Wild Lights at the Detroit Zoo [caption id="attachment_921410" align="aligncenter" width="800"] Christmas lights at the Detroit Zoo[/caption] The Detroit Zoo lights up the zoo with the Wild Lights. From November 19th to January 8th, the Detroit Zoo will light up the holidays. The events will run on select weeknights, some Fridays, Saturdays, and most Sundays. The times will run from 5 - 10:30 pm. Only the front half of the zoo will be lit and the animal areas will not be included in the events.
