in the kNOw JUSTICE kNOw PEACE Edition of the Thinking Out Loud Radio Show we are discussing the 57th Anniversary of the historic March on Washington which took place this past Friday, Aug 28th. We will be talking about some of the events that took place and sharing with you our thoughts on the importance of this particular anniversary. We also plan to discuss the sports world collective response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake and how the use of their platform to speak truth to power might have brought us another step closer to real change in our Criminal Justice System. And, finally we also plan to pay tribute to the life and legacy of Actor Chadwick Boseman who succumb to colon cancer just a few days ago. We lost a hero, but his legend still lives on. Wakanda Forever!
PLUS, we plan to share some of our recent volunteer efforts with One Campaign and how you can get involved and get a discount on one our signature tees. And, of course we have a dynamic Thought of the Week is from an excerpt from a Commencement Speech that Black Panther Star Chadwick Boseman gave at Howard University some time ago. It was both inspiring and powerful and is a great way to end tonight show. We’ve got a powerful show tonight, the only question is will you be tunning in. We hope so. See you at 8pm!
