In 1993, Brandy emerged on television on the ABC series Thea, and in 1994 the actress and singer dropped her debut self-titled album. The multitalented artist then landed her own TV show, Moesha in 1996, which ran until 2001 and is now streaming on Netflix.
Over the years, B-Rocka has appeared in other television shows, including The Parkers, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Reba, One on One, The Game, Zoe Ever After, and Star.
The singer and actress also appeared in a handful of films, including Cinderella, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Double Platinum, and The Perfect Match. Since her debut, she’s released six albums.
The R&B veteran’s six albums also include Never Say Never, which garnered the singer a Grammy Award for her hit duet “The Boy Is Mine” with Monica.
In July 2020, B-Rocka dropped her seventh studio album, B7, which was highly praised by fans. The singer was also recently deemed an “inspiration” for singer Erykah Badu.
