Kevin Hart Released From Hospital Following Car Accident
Ten days after his major car crash, actor Kevin Hart is out of the hospital, as People reports.
Hart, 40, was discharged and is now currently recovering in a rehabilitation facility.
The actor was hospitalized and underwent surgery following the suffering of “major back injuries” when his Plymouth Barracuda landed in a ditch earlier this month after veering off the road.
The Barracuda’s driver, Hart’s friend, Jared Black, lost control of the vehicle and crashed through wooden fencing leaving the actor/comedian hurt.
The car accident took place just before 1 a.m. on Mulholland Highway in Malibu, according to a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol.
Last week, Hart’s wife, Eniko Parrish, told TMZ that the comedian is doing “great” and is expected to fully recover.
“He’s gonna be just fine. He’s good, everybody’s good. Thank god,” she said outside the hospital, after returning from a coffee run. “He’s fine, he’s awake.”
