Lennox perfectly nailed the scene. However, the “Shea Butter Baby” singer told her fans, “No, I can’t do ‘Hustle & Flow’ either.

Some of Lennox’s viewers reassured the singer that she killed it while some asked for her to reenact more scenes from other cult classic films such as The Color Purple and Waiting To Exhale.

The movie won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for its theme song titled “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp” by Three 6 Mafia. Henson also won Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role at the Black Movie Awards.
