Donald Glover Signs Eight-Figure Deal With Amazon, And Hires Malia Obama
Donald Glover has signed a lucrative eight-figure deal with Amazon. The Hollywood Reporter reports that he has exited his pact with Disney-owned FX.
Donald will have a content channel on Amazon’s Prime Video hub that spotlights his work and other curated content. His brother, Stephen Glover, also signed a deal with Amazon. Stephen wrote and produced Atlanta with his brother.
Sources are saying one of the projects might be a series titled Hive, which will be based on a Beyoncé-like figure. And Malia Obama has joined the writing team for this projects.
Glover’s reported deal with Amazon will not affect his FX show, Atlanta. So far, it has been renewed for seasons three and four. Production for that show begins in March.
