Beyonce Becomes The Most Decorated Female Artist In Grammy History
Tonight (March 14), Beyonce won Grammys for Best R&B Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video. With 28 Grammys, she officially has the most awards of any female artist. Per Yahoo, bluegrass artist Alison Krauss previously held the record for the most Grammys awarded to a female artist at 27.
The outlet adds that Queen B trails only classical conductor for total Grammys. Sir George Solti. He has an all-time record of 31 Grammy wins.
Earlier, Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy also won her first Grammy for Best Music Video. She was part of the “Brown Skin Girl” music video. According to MSN, the nine-year-old is the second youngest winner in Grammy history.
