Brandy Hospitalized for Possible Seizure: Report
R&B icon Brandy Norwood has been hospitalized for a possible seizure, gossip site TMZ reports.
Law enforcement sources told the outlet that they received an EMS call to Brandy’s home at noon Tuesday (Oct. 11). Sources told the publication that it’s believed Brandy suffered a seizure and was taken to a local hospital.
At this time, the gossip site reports that Brandy is currently still in the hospital. Her parents Willie and Sonja Norwood have been by her side and it looks like she will recover.
The last time Brandy made headlines was when her brother Ray J got a tattoo of the singer on his leg. The tattoo went viral due to it depicting Brandy with red eyes and face tattoos. Ray J got “Best Friends 4 Ever. From Ray With Love” tattooed on the R&B legend’s face.
Fans were quick to blow up the comments writing, “Is this a joke?” one person asked while another commented, “Your weird! I get it’s your sister but damnnnn [crying laughing face emoji].”
Ray wrote, “NEW @brandy TATTOO BY ONE OF THE GREATEST!! @_mashkow_ – IM GETTING MY WHOLE LEG TATTED WITH- MUSIC- LOVE – SCRIPTURES – THE VOCAL BIBLE – FAMILY – GHOSTS – POSITIVE WORDS AND THEMES – REAL GOTHIC LIKE,” the “One Wish” singer captioned the since-deleted Instagram Reel of the behind-the-scenes video of the making of the tattoo.
He also teased that there is more to come: “‘THE HOLY LEG!’ – GONNA TAKE A MINUTE!! But I got the best doing it !! STAY TUNED!! – FULL LEG TATT — I had to start with my best friend!!,” he added.
Regardless of what others thought of the tattoo, Brandy loved her brother’s sentiment toward their tight bond as she commented on the video writing, “Brooooooo [4x red hearts].”
It has not been confirmed when Brandy will be getting out of the hospital nor have reps for the star made a statement about the singer’s condition as of yet.
