Chris Rock ‘Still Processing’ Will Smith Oscars Slap
Chris Rock broke his silence about Sunday’s Oscar incident during his comedy show in Boston tonight (March 30).
“You got me all misty and s—” Rock, said after taking the stage and receiving a two minute standing ovation at the Wilbur Theater, per The New Post.
“I don’t have a bunch of s— about what happened,” he said about the incident adding that he is still reflecting on the matter. “I had like a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kinda processing what happened. So at some point, I’ll talk about that s–.”
He then proceeded to start his set, “So I’m gonna tell some jokes. It’s nice to be out.”
Before Smith grabbed his Academy Award for his role as Richard Williams in King Richard, the actor slapped Rock for a joke he made about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair.
The actor has since apologized for his actions.
This is the first time Rock has addressed the incident publicly.
