Frank’s Nursery & Crafts is Coming Back – But It’s Different This Time
When I was a kid, going to Frank’s Nursery & Crafts was always one of my favorite things to do. I loved buying crafts there and looking at all their garden options.
Frank’s closed in 2004, which was heartbreaking. It had tons of stories in Michigan. But, now, the beloved shop is back- as an online store this time around.
Kelly Boyd is helping to bring the brand back, as the president of Frank’s Nursery & Crafts. His dad, Bill Boyd, was the Chief Operating Officer of Frank’s until he retired in 2000.
The online store is up right now at https://franksnurseryandcrafts.com/. So far, the online store offers plants, flowers, trees, mulch and other gardening supplies. In the future, expect to see arts and craft supplies. Owners also hope to open in-person Frank’s stores at some point.
“Beautiful things begin at FRANK’S!” the store’s new Facebook page reads. “YES – Frank’s is BACK!! Thousands of the freshest plant varieties delivered direct from the grower to your home – and all your gardening supplies at great prices, just like you remember.”
