Get $100 for Tagging a Walleye
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources will jaw tag 3,000 walleye in several Saginaw Bay tributary rivers starting Wednesday (March 30).
To assist with data collection, anglers are asked to report tagged fish. The DNR is asking for the species, length, weight (if known), tag location (where the tag was attached), ID number, tag return address, as well as the capture date and location.
Also include the time of capture and sex of fish, if you know it, in the notes box of the form. For more information, go here.
