Tyler Perry has written a new, heartfelt op-ed titled, “A heartbroken Black mother needs answers on what happened to her missing son.”
“On Jan. 12, 2004, Marcia Williams lost her 27-year-old son Terrance, apparently during an encounter with the law,” Perry writes. “This young Black man was placed in the back of a patrol car and was never seen again.”
Perry adds, “Let me stop here for a second to let that sink in. Are you feeling the same shock as me? For 18 years, Marcia has lived with that pain, of not knowing what happened to her only child.”
This is truly an inspiring read.
