How can we already be coming up on the end of summer concert season? Say it isn't so. I don't know about you, but I honestly don't feel like I've been able to enjoy the summer this year. I've been outside, but it's gone quickly, and where I live, it's been a cooler summer than normal. I've also only made it to one concert this summer. But, the great news is that it was a fantastic one. I saw Staind and Godsmack at Pine Knob around my birthday, and both bands were fantastic. Well, as it turns out, the last show at Pine Knob this season is a banger. Of course, I mean that in a good way.

Before we get to the last show, let's talk about the second to last show at Pine Knob for the season. It's Riff Fest 2023, featuring I Prevail, Bad Omens, Badflower, Rival Sons, and Giovannie and the Hired Guns. Also, the Riff Fest Festival Stage will have Des Rocs, TigerCub, and BRKN Love. I’m really excited for this year’s event. Bad Omens is one of my newer favorite bands.

Now, onto the last show. It's a very late-in-the-season one, too. Do you remember that Avenged Sevenfold's show this summer got postponed due to weather? Well, they've rescheduled that show for Oct. 18 at Pine Knob. It's going to be so fun and crazy to see a show at Pine Knob that late in the season. It's almost extending the season a month. I'm not a big fan of lots of heat at a concert, so I think an outdoor concert on Oct. 18 sounds perfect. Find all the information on the rescheduled Avenged Sevenfold show here. By the way, I would love to hear about your favorite concerts of the year. Reach out to me (Anne Erickson) here and let me know. Here's to next summer.
