Blake’s Hard Cider Expands with Texas Brand Partnership
Blake’s Hard Cider is in a phase of growth and has entered into a partnership with Austin Eastciders, a hard cider company based in Texas. Andrew Blake, the CEO, and founder of Blake’s Hard Cider, announced that the two brands will collaborate to establish Blake’s Beverage Company, which they say is the largest independent craft hard cider company in the United States.

In a social media post, he stated, “A new chapter starts today for @blakeshardciderco. With the merger of @eastciders and @avidcidercompany we officially have come together to create Blake’s Beverage Company the largest independent craft hard cider company in the country and one of the most exciting dynamic companies in the industry.”
Avid Cider Company, located in the Pacific Northwest and acquired by Blake’s last year, will also become a part of Blake’s Beverage Company. This partnership will expand the operations of Blake’s Beverage Company from Michigan to New York, Oregon, and Texas, while also broadening their product range with various flavors across different price points.
Blake’s remains anchored in its 1,000-acre apple-producing farm in Armada and proudly carries forward a family heritage with nearly 80 years of history. Avid Cider Company, originating from the apple-rich Pacific Northwest in Bend, Oregon, contributes its adventurous spirit to this collaborative venture. Meanwhile, according to Blake, Austin Eastciders, born and nurtured in the city of Austin, Texas, bring a distinctive Texan influence to this unified partnership.
Within Blake’s Beverage Company, they said they focus on nurturing cider culture, holding a strong presence in their home markets. Their mission is to share this regional passion and their unique flavors with consumers across the United States.
