Happy birthday, Sasha Obama! She turns 19 on Wednesday (June 10). What a fun age, right? Here are some cool facts about Sasha in honor of her big day.
Sasha isn’t her real name. Here real name is actually Natasha.
When President Obama was in office, Sasha was the youngest child to live in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. resided there as a baby in 1961.
Her parents taught her good work ethic. They made her get a normal summer job at a seafood restaurant when she was a teenager.
She has a Beanie Baby named after her, and so does her sister. “Sweet Sasha” and “Marvelous Malia” are actually Beanie Babies!
She is greatly influential. Both Sasha and Malia were named two of “The 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014” by Time magazine.
