Everything's free at this Michigan store that we're going to tell you about here. That's right. There is no catch. Everything in this store is free and donated from the community. It's a really nice thing.

Michigan Store Sells Everything for Free

If you or someone you know need some items and don't have the cash, the compassionate people at The Fretail Store are here for you. It's true that everything at their store is free. It's a saving grace for many Michiganders who have fallen on hard times.

The Fretail Store is located at The Lansing Mall in Lansing, Michigan. While the store has been around for a while, it just had a been grand opening, which is more of a re-opening. It's like a real, retail store, but everything is for free. Note that hours are limited, though. The Fretail Store is open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"We have women, men and children’s clothing. We have personal care, an entire grocery store in the back." He added that they also have diapers, "underwear and everything you could ever think of a regular store, but everything is, what? What is everything? It’s free, isn’t it? It’s free, yes, everything is free," Michael Karl, president and founder of Cardboard Prophets and Capitol Area Diaper Bank, told WLNS. Karl also expressed that while everything is free, you get the real feel of shopping at a regular store at The Fretail Store. "It's just like a regular store," he said. "You get your items and then you get in line for checkout, you check out. There’s a receipt, a dignity receipt, that says 'thank you' and it's free, and you're on your way," Karl said.

The Fretail Store is open to the public. It's totally run by volunteers and stocked by donations from the community. Visit the store's website here.
