Watch the Implosion of the Palace of Auburn Hills
Today marked the end of an era.
The demolition of the famed Palace of Auburn Hills was completed today (July 11), and the building went down with a “bang.”
Watch video of the Palace’s implosion below. Be warned, you might shed a tear.
So many great acts have graced the stage at the Palace, from Beyonce to Van Halen to Pink Floyd. The venue housed every genre of music imaginable. At this point, the question is who didn’t play the Palace, since it seems pretty much every major act did.
The Palace, of course, was also home to the Detroit Pistons for decades.
We miss you already, Palace!
