Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is reportedly on the NFL’s reserve/COVID-19 list, according to reports from the NFL Network and NFL.com.
Being on the list means Stafford either tested positive for COVID-19 or recently came into close contact with someone who has been known to have contracted the virus.
The NFL is expected to have additional news on this soon. For more information, go here.
That designation means Stafford is the eighth Lions player to land on the reserve list.
The NFL and NFL Players Association have an agreement stating the teams are not allowed to divulge details on a NFL player’s medical status.
