2020 Trick Or Treat Hours For Oakland County
Participating in traditional trick-or-treating where treats are handed to children who go door to door.
Halloween 2020 is Saturday, October 31. These times are not laws, they are “recommended” or “suggested” trick or treat hours by city released to the public by various city officials and departments.

- Auburn Hills Trick or Treat Hours / Times – 6p-7p per City Clerk
- Berkley Trick or Treat Times / Hours – per Berkley City Clerk’s office “no specific ordinance per se” regarding specific Halloween trick or treat times.
- Beverly Hills Trick or Treat Hours / Trick or Treat Times – 6p-8p
- Birmingham Trick or Treat Hours – Per Birmingham City Clerk – “per police chief, the City of Birmingham does not have specific Halloween trick or treating hours. However, our police force does pay particular attention to City neighborhoods on Halloween given the increased pedestrian traffic across the city”

- Highland Twp Trick or Treat Times / Hours – 6p-8p per Highland Twp government website. “Halloween is not a Township sanctioned event, but rather a nationally recognized holiday. The Township usually sets suggested hours of 6p-8p for Trick-or-treating. The Township doesn’t have any authority to cancel Halloween or restrict others from participating in the festivities.
- Holly Trick or Treat Hours / Times – 6p-8p per city clerk ** “We want to make known that Trick-or-Treating has never been a Village sponsored event, since Halloween is not a government holiday. However, the Village of Holly Police Department will provide the same staffing levels as in previous years on October 31st from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, which is the traditional time for trick-or-treating in the Village. If residents chose to participate in Trick- or-Treating, we hope they will follow all Covid-19 safety protocols and guidelines.
