Froot Loops’ Limited-Edition Box Celebrates Michigan’s National Championship
It’s a great day to be a Michigan Wolverine. The University of Michigan football team won Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship game at NRG Stadium in Houston. It’s their first national title since 1997. Fans aren’t the only ones celebrating, so are major companies. In honor of Michigan’s national championship win, Kellogg’s is celebrating with a limited-edition box of Froot Loops.
“Savor the sweet taste of victOOOry with this exclusive collaboration between Froot Loops and the University of Michigan. Designed to commemorate the team’s outstanding achievement, this limited edition box sleeve* is a must-have for every devoted Wolverine fan,” stated the website.
The limited-edition box will feature Toucan Sam with maize and blue “Championship Loops,” the Michigan winged helmet, the Hail to the Victors fight song, and “Go Bloo” written across the box.
Before you get too excited, the company said that Kellogg’s limited-edition box is for celebratory purposes only and does not contain any actual Froot Loops. But at least you can still snag a box to hold on to and relive the Wolverine win.
“This Is A Special Edition Box Sleeve Only. It’s The Perfect Accessory To Proudly Showcase Your Support For The Wolverines Or A Gift For The Michigan Enthusiast In Your Life,” Kellogg’s said.
If you really want to get your hands on a box, you may want to move fast. According to Kellogg’s, there are only 1,000 boxes available. It’s worth mentioning that these boxes can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. So, even if you’re all the way in Wisconsin, you can celebrate the Wolverines and their national championship win.
How much does a limited-edition National Champions box cost?
In honor of the year the University of Michigan was founded, the box will cost $18.17.
