Viola is the fourth child in a family of six. Big family!
She’s highly trained! Viola earned a degree in Theatre from Rhode Island College in 1988 and then enrolled in the famed Juilliard School Of Performing Arts in New York City and graduated in 1993.
She scored a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress In A Play for her role on Broadway in the play, “King Hedley II.”
She also scored two Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards for the plays “King Hedley II,” “Intimate Apparel” and “Fences.”
She was inducted into The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences in 2009.
Anne Erickson started her radio career shortly after graduating from Michigan State University and has worked on-air in Detroit, Flint, Toledo, Lansing and beyond. As someone who absolutely loves rock, metal and alt music, she instantly fell in love with radio and hasn’t looked back. When she’s not working, Anne makes her own music with her band, Upon Wings, and she also loves cheering on her favorite Detroit and Michigan sports teams, especially Lions and MSU football.
