What a week for Taco Bell lovers across the country! Making a triumphant return to the TB menu are the beloved potato items, and the tasty Quesalupa!

Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and Potato Tacos

Two potato-forward Taco Bell items have been reintroduced:  The Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and Potato Tacos. A great vegetarian option with plenty of customization options, potato lovers can now customize their orders by adding spuds to their favorite menu items and patrons can also substitute potatoes for meat in any dish to make it vegetarian friendly.

“The return of our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing our fans the strong continued commitment to vegetarian we are making this year,” Matthews stated (via Comic Book). “We have long been a leader in the vegetarian space, but this year, we have more meatless options in store that vegetarians, veggie-curious and even meat-eaters will love.”

The Quesalupa, a quesadilla-chalupa mashup, will be even cheesier than you may remember as the item hasn’t been seen on the menu since 2016. This fan favorite is a blend of signature Taco Bell flavors: Seasoned beef, crispy lettuce, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, and sour cream.

“Our customers raved about the cheese filled chalupa shell in its first debut, so when the quesalupa began its return journey back to our nationwide menus, we knew we needed to perfect that cheesy experience — one that will be consistent for every guest and every bite,” Taco Bell’s global chief food innovation officer, Liz Matthews, stated in a news release (via USA Today).

They also  brought a new friend… The Wild Strawberry Lemonade Freeze!
The Wild Strawberry Lemonade Freeze is a slushie that features a retro combination of lemonade and strawberries!

According to Taco Bell, “It feels carefree, with an up-for-anything, youthful twist. It’s Wild Strawberry jazz and swing with Lemonade folk and rhythm&blues. Sure, all are pretty great by themselves. But together, absolutely groundbreaking.”
