Famous Amos To Award Three Entrepreneurs With $150,000
Ferrero North America, in collaboration with the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc., has launched the 2024 edition of the Famous Amos Ingredients for Success Entrepreneurs Initiative. This national program, now in its fourth year, offers capital awards, resources, and mentorship to Black early-stage businesses. Eligible start-ups are encouraged to apply for a chance to win a $50,000 award. Applications are accepted on FamousAmosIngredientsForSuccess.com until August 4, 2024. (Source: Ferrero North America)
FAMOUS AMOS TO AWARD THREE ENTREPRENEURS WITH $150,000
To qualify, businesses should be at least 90% Black-owned, operational for no more than five years, and based in the United States. Owners must be 21 years of age or older. Candidates are required to submit a pitch video, lasting between 90 and 120 seconds, detailing why their business deserves the $50,000 prize. Winners and finalists from this year will become part of a network of entrepreneurs who have expanded their enterprises through this program’s support.

A panel of distinguished Black entrepreneurs, featuring Steve Canal, Grant Warner, and Kendra Bracken-Ferguson, will select three grand-prize winners to receive $50,000 in business capital funds, comprehensive business resources and services, along with publicity. Since 2021, the program has completed three cycles, awarding a total of $450,000 to nine winners. Annually, the program reviews and considers over 2,000 applications.
