Happy birthday, Alex Trebek!
The longtime “Jeopardy!” host turns 80 today. He’s been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and we wish him a full recovery.
Trebek recently released a new memoir called, “The Answer Is… Reflections On My Life,” and in it, he credits his wife, Jean, for helping him get through his cancer treatment.
“She’s kept me alive,” he told People magazine. “If it weren’t for Jean, I’d had put myself out of this a long time ago.”
“With Jean, it just happened,” Trebek wrote in his memoir, as reported by People. “Sometimes you look at something, you look at someone, and you know. I mean, you’ve heard stories of people who meet and decide within half an hour; I knew this was going to be the person I’d end up with.
