It might not make its wearer the most fashionable person there, but a protective concert suit designed by a California firm promises to make seeing live shows a safe experience.

Resembling a cross between the Hazmat suits worn in “Outbreak” and Mr. Freeze’s outfit in “Batman and Robin,” the Micrashell features a space age helmet, its own filtration system and even LED accent lights. “Micrashell is a solution for bringing people together safely,” says Miguel Risueno, head of inventions at the Production Club in California. “It’s a half suit that kind of takes your safety and your security in terms of being close to airborne particles or viruses to the next level.”

So far, the Production Club has only made a prototype of the Micrashell. There’s no word on how much it’s expected to retail for. Source: (Consequenceofsound.net and TopicPulse)
