Vanessa Bell Armstrong is a legendary Gospel singer whose career spans four decades, marked by hit gospel songs, Stellar Award victories, and numerous Grammy nominations.
Followers of her career are aware that Armstrong’s vocal talents are diverse and enduring, spanning from her initial gospel success with “Peace Be Still” in 1983, to her role in the Broadway play “Don’t Get God Started”, Oprah Winfrey’s “The Women of Brewster Place”, and as the vocalist for the theme song of the beloved ’80s sitcom “Amen”.
Shanachie Entertainment has expressed their pleasure in releasing “Today,” the lead single from Vanessa Bell Armstrong’s eagerly awaited fourteenth album, which is set to be released on June 21, 2024. Vanessa said, “This new album is so special to me because it’s a long time coming. God allowed me to finish it just before my father passed and went to heaven. I dedicate this album to him.”
