University of Michigan senior Maggie MacNeil is on a hot streak, as she just scored her third medal at the Tokyo Olympics. We're so proud!
MacNeil assisted the Canadian 4x100-meter medley relay team in taking home the bronze Sunday morning (Aug. 1) at the Tokyo Aquatics Center.
Previously this year, MacNeil won the gold medal for the 100-meter butterfly and silver medal for the 4x100-meter freestyle relay. That makes her the first Wolverine varsity swimmer to score three medals at one Olympics and first University of Michigan female varsity athlete to earn three career medals, according to U-M Athletics.
MacNeil, Meryl Davis and Sada Jacobson are the Wolverines' only female three-time Olympic medalists.
