Michigan Wrestler Scores Momentous Medal at Tokyo Olympics
Michigan wrestler Myles Amine took home a shiny bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics this week, and with the bronze came some firsts.
Amine, a Brighton native and Wolverine, is representing San Marino at the Olympics. The bronze medal makes him the first Olympic medalist in freestyle wrestling for Michigan and San Marino.
At the University of Michigan, Amine was a three-time third-place finisher at the NCAA Championships. Sounds like the bronze was a good fit!
