Halloween season is in full swing, and if you haven't been to a haunted house yet, now is your chance. In Michigan, we have one of the most popular haunted attractions in the U.S., according to a new poll conducted by USA Today. I love all things Halloween, so I think it's pretty awesome to have such a great spooky spot in Michigan.

Each year, USA Today releases its Reader's Choice List of Top Haunted Attractions in the United States. This year, the No. 1 spot went to Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth, Texas. Texas is quite a jaunt from Michigan, so lucky for us, the No. 2 best haunted attraction on USA Today's list is right here in Michigan: Erebus Haunted Attraction in Pontiac.

Here are the top 5 winners in the "Best Haunted Attraction" category via USA Today:

Cutting Edge Haunted House - Fort Worth, TX
Erebus Haunted Attraction - Pontiac, MI
Shocktoberfest - Sinking Spring, PA
Field of Screams - Mountville, PN
Haunted Overload - Lee, NH

Erebus is currently open for its 22nd season. For more information about Erebus Haunted Attraction, head to HauntedPontiac.com or call 248-332-7884.
