Updated: Police Searching for Michigan School Shooting Suspect’s Parents
According to CNN, police are currently looking for Michigan school shooting suspect Ethan Crumbley’s parents. The news comes just a few hours before they were set to be arraigned on involuntary manslaughter charges, they report.
Ethan’s father, allegedly, bought the gun that was used during the shooting four days before the incident at Oxford High School took place.
“The action of fleeing and ignoring their attorney certainly adds weight to the charges. They cannot run from their part in this tragedy,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said in a statement.
UPDATE:
Two attorneys working with the parents of the Michigan school shooting suspect claim the two left town on the night of the shooting “for their own safety” and are not fleeing, according to CNN.
However, the parents are still missing.
This is a developing story.
