Michigan Football Player Expected to Be NFL’s No. 1 Draft Pick
It’s an exciting time to be a fan of football in Michigan. From Michigan beating Ohio State, then winning the Big Ten championship and going onto the Orange Bowl, to Michigan State heading to the Peach Bowl, there’s lots to like. Now, a Michigan football player is expected to be the NFL’s No. 1 draft pick. I’m excited, even though I’m a Spartan.
Michigan edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson is the latest No. 1 pick on ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper’s “Big Board.” He was previously No. 5 on Kiper’s list and went up to the highest spot this week.
Hutchinson is a Heisman Trophy finalist, which certainly helped him move to No. 1. He’s considered a strong reason why Michigan is doing so well this season.
Michigan State’s Kenneth Walker III is also in a great spot on the list, as a top-two RB prospect. Kiper also included Jayden Reed as the No. 5 returner.
