As a Michigander, I always thought you had to know a guy who knew a guy to get the behind-the-scenes treatment at Detroit venues like the Fox Theatre, Comerica Park, and Little Caesars Arena. But it turns out that’s not the case at all. Fans can now experience these venues from a new up-close perspective with private guided tours.

According to the news release, fans can now experience these venues with private guided tours. These tours, which must be scheduled in advance, allow participants to explore exclusive areas usually off-limits to the public, such as private suites, press boxes, training facilities, and more. Guests will also learn about the historical memorabilia on display at each location, celebrating the teams’ accomplishments.
The Little Caesars Arena tour includes Blue Cross Blue Shield Suites, Michigan First Gondola and Press Box Area, Detroit Red Wings Organ, the BELFOR Training Center, and during the off-season, may include stops in a locker room. The tour lasts approximately 60-75 minutes and costs $20 per person.
“The arena also features state-of-the-art technology, fan amenities, and active community spaces,” said the news release. They added, “One of the busiest venues in the world, Little Caesars Arena received the prestigious Sports Facility of the Year award at the 2018 Sports Business Awards Ceremony.”
Comerica Park tours last 90 minutes and include a visit to the Ernie Harwell Media Center, the Jim Beam Champions Club, Kaline’s Corner, Hall of Fame Statues, center field camera well, dugout, locker rooms, and photo opportunities on the field and at the Custom Hi-Chew Carousel & Ferris Wheel. Tours are $20 per person.
“Underscoring the commitment to Tigers’ fans and players, the organization invested in significant ballpark upgrades during the 2023-2024 offseason,” they said.
The Fox Theatre tour lasts about 60-75 minutes. During the tour, you will learn about the theatre’s history, building details, and performances. You will also ride the hand-operated elevator, one of the first of its kind in Detroit.
Walk on stage where legends like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, and Liza Minnelli have performed. You can also visit backstage to see the signatures of performing artists.
