Animated Reboot of ‘Good Times’ Coming to Netflix
Good Times is making its way back to television, but it’s going to look a bit different this time around.
The popular ’70s series starring the Evans family will be revamped on Netflix as an animated series.
The program’s original producer Norman Lear will be part of the new series, along with NBA Champion Stephen Curry and Seth MacFarlane.
The animated show, according to ShadowAndAct.com, will follow “the Evans family as they navigate today’s world and contemporary social issues. Just as the original did years ago, Good Times strives to remind us that with the love of our family, we can keep our heads above water.”
Anne Erickson started her radio career shortly after graduating from Michigan State University and has worked on-air in Detroit, Flint, Toledo, Lansing and beyond. As someone who absolutely loves rock, metal and alt music, she instantly fell in love with radio and hasn’t looked back. When she’s not working, Anne makes her own music with her band, Upon Wings, and she also loves cheering on her favorite Detroit and Michigan sports teams, especially Lions and MSU football. Anne is also an award-winning journalist, and her byline has run in a variety of national publications. You can also hear her weekends on WRIF.
