Michigan Has 2 of the Best Corn Mazes in the U.S.
It’s corn maze season, which is always a good thing. Going to a corn maze is just an autumn appropriate-activity that is hard to pass up. As it turns out Michigan has two of the best corn mazes in all of America.
The study was done by CountryLiving.com. Side note: I love this site. It makes me feel warm and happy inside. Anyway, of corn maze season, the site says, “We’re here to help with a list of the best corn mazes out there so you can plan your road trip ASAP and indulge in the best things that fall has to offer. Whether you live in California or Vermont, you’re bound to find a corn maze near your hometown…or wherever your fall travels take you. From haunted fields to kid-friendly (and pet-friendly!) locales and family-owned farms bursting with color and energy, these corns mazes are perfect for every kind of excursion you may have in mind.”
Of course, I was curious about the No. 1 best corn maze in America, and why it was picked as No. 1. According to the polling, it’s Ramseyer Farms in Wooster, Ohio, so not too far away. Okay, it’s about three hours from Detroit, so that is a trek, but still doable. “Ramseyer Farms has two mazes each fall. Their new Cars-themed maze will be a hit with visitors of all ages,” CountryLiving.com says.
So, what about Michigan? No. 6 on the list is DeBuck’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Belleville, Michigan. “Don’t worry: If you get lost in DeBuck’s, you can always ask for help,” the publication states. “This sprawling challenge is fun for the whole family, and 2019’s design (pictured here) is a stunner. The farm also offers a pumpkin patch, sunflower field, and treats from their country kitchen.” Then, No. 27 on the list is New Salem Corn Maze in Dorr, Michigan. “Get ready for some spooky fun at the New Salem Corn Maze located in Dorr, Michigan,” CountryLiving.com says. “Teens and grown-ups can get their kicks by taking on their Haunted Corn Maze, Witches Wood adventure, or their Zombie Attack wagon ride. And for the family who wants a fun—not frightening—maze experience, stop by the Grand Rapids attraction and check out their kid-friendly Daytime Corn Maze.” Find the full list of the best corn mazes in America here.
