If you or someone you know is raising a little tyke and looking for the best public elementary schools in Michigan, the staff at Niche has put together a list of the finest public elementary institutions in Michigan for 2022.

To compile the list, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education, plus reviews from students and parents. Ranking factors also included “state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district,” according to the outlet.

These are the top 10 public elementary schools in Michigan, according to Niche:

2. Wass Elementary School, in Troy
3. Okemos Public Montessori School at Central, in Okemos
4. Hiawatha Elementary School, in Okemos
5. Leonard Elementary School, in Troy
