“Amen,” Is Pastor Mike Jr.’s Self-Declared Anthem Of 2025
On a road trip from Atlanta to Detroit, my sister and I decided to listen to some sermons from our favorite pastors. Let me tell you, Pastor Mike Jr. had us shouting “Amen!” for half the journey! So, you can imagine my excitement when I found out that PMJ just dropped a brand-new single called “Amen!”
This amazing 19-time Stellar Award winner shared that his songs are basically “sermons with melodies.” One Sunday while he was preaching, he noticed the congregation repeatedly saying “Amen!” He explained, “Amen means ‘I agree!’ I felt inspired to write a song that uplifts and brings positivity to everyone, with a simple response: AMEN!”
“Amen,” Is Pastor Mike Jr.’s Self-Declared Anthem Of 2025
Dubbed “The New King of Urban Inspiration,” Pastor Mike Jr. has scored five consecutive number-one singles (“B!G,” “I Got It,” “Amazing,” “Impossible” and “Windows”) on Billboard’s National Gospel Airplay chart. His breakout single “B!G” was recognized as Billboard’s #1 Gospel Airplay Song of 2020. He serves as the Senior Pastor of Rock City Church in Birmingham, AL.

Oh, and I highly recommend the sermon, “Thrive in 2025: Arresting Anxiety” by Pastor Mike Jr. This one had a great impact on me and my sister on our road trip.
