Sunday Best alum Keyla Richardson To Make Her Acting Debut on BET+

Season 9 Sunday Best finalist and Uncle G Records recording artist Keyla Richardson is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming BET+ film ‘Due Season,’ which will premiere on April 14th.

Written and directed by Cecil Chambers, the film also stars Vivica A. Fox, who plays Keyla’s mom, BeBe Winans, who plays Keyla’s dad, Barry Shabaka Henley, Dorien Wilson, Rolonda Watts and Justiin A. Davis.

The film follows Keyla’s character Vicky Waters, who’s been accepted into the conservatory of her dreams but now must win a competition to stay.

Keyla recently told the Get Up Erica crew that she was in awe working with Vivica A. Fox and BeBe Winans, but is excited to see the end result. Richardson is also looking forward to more acting roles in the future.

Producers include Cecil Chambers, DJ Dodd, Saleem Elmasri, Devin Griffin, Clyde Jordan, Charley McDougall, Jamie McLeod-Ross, Marvin Neil, Chad Oliver, and Zack Weiner.
