Kierra Sheard-Kelly & Jekalyn Carr to Co-Hosts 37th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards

Jekalyn Carr will co-host the 37th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards alongside Detroit’s own Kierra Sheard-Kelly July 16th in Atlanta, GA. This is Carr’s second year co-hosting the Stellar’s and she is the youngest artist to co-host the show. This will also be the first year that two female artists assume co-hosting duties.

Jekalyn Carr’s single “My Portion” has hit the #1 position on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart, making it her sixth #1 radio single and bringing her tally of career number ones to 10. Carr is also a speaker, author, radio show host and entrepreneur who recently launched Jekalyn Beauty Skincare and Jekalyn Beauty Haircare, offering a suite of products to simplify the needs of women of all ages. Randi Myles is the mid-day host on Detroit’s Praise Network. Randi’s mom knew she was destined to be in some form of entertainment when even as a small child, she would pretend a pencil was a microphone and sing and charm family and friends. Later she would sing in church and college choirs. However, it wasn’t until she attended Specs Howard School of Media Arts, that Ms. Myles would find her true voice. Randi enjoys writing about the city of Detroit, faith, and the community.
