Marvin Sapp’s ‘Tiny Desk’ concert was a huge success! There was high expectation, but it was much more than anyone imagined. It got 1 million views in just two weeks! Social media loved it. In fact, it was the 12th most viewed video on YouTube only a few hours after its premiere. Sapp was booked to close out NPR’s Black History Month programming, and this certainly achieved that.
Marvin Sapp said, “This is surreal, “I’m just soaking in the fact that people are responding so much to this Tiny Desk Concert. I had a lot of fun doing it and was honored by the invitation. Still, this response is beyond my wildest imagination.”
