4th Annual Detroit Youth Summit Bring Young Detroiters Together To Help Shape Their Future
Detroit (September 30, 2022, | DYS 2022). The 4th Annual Detroit Youth Summit is an in-person and virtual conference brings together Detroit youth (ages 14-24) with civic and business leaders to network, brainstorm and collaborate on ways to create positive change in their communities, while giving them opportunities for involvement.
The Summit happening on October 22, 2022, is co-produced, hosted and moderated by Detroit’s youth community and will be at the Detroit’s Union Carpenters & Millwrights Skilled Training Center. The event includes breakfast, lunch, panel discussions, breakout rooms, an Opportunity Fair and reception. Some of this years’ topics includes, Detroit’s growth, Where Detroit is investing in education, Mental health and wellness and what youth are doing now to impact Detroit. DYS2022 also includes advice and access to FREE college tuition and skilled workforce training.
