Detroit’s Own Deitrick Haddon Releases New Album [Video]

ONE NIGHT IN CALIFORNIA, is out now and features sixteen songs of transparency telling the true story of Haddon hearing from God over the calling over his life. During that time, Haddon’s mental health was being tested. “One Night in California” is an eclectic genre-blending mixtape featuring viral international artists and Haddon’s signature vocals.

Deitrick is a Detroit native who is known for his progressive, urban style of gospel music. He is also the founding pastor of Hill City Church in California, a cast member on Oxygen’s reality television show Preachers of L.A, that just released a reunion show focusing the marriage of cast member Bishop Noel Jones and now wife Loretta. Additionally, Haddon penned three songs on Usher’s album, “A.” As an actor, Haddon starred in the original TV One film, SINS OF THE FATHER and the ALLBLK film, THE FALLEN.

Randi Myles is the mid-day host on Detroit’s Praise Network. Randi’s mom knew she was destined to be in some form of entertainment when even as a small child, she would pretend a pencil was a microphone and sing and charm family and friends. Later she would sing in church and college choirs. However, it wasn’t until she attended Specs Howard School of Media Arts, that Ms. Myles would find her true voice. Randi enjoys writing about the city of Detroit, faith, and the community.
