MAJOR. is a multi-genre singer who rose to fame with his platinum-selling hit single, “Why I Love You.” The song was a smash, and MAJOR. has since been nominated for numerous awards including a GRAMMY® nod, 2x Soul Train Award nominee, and 8x NAACP Image Award nominee.
MAJOR. is a great storyteller. His music is infused with his faith and his realness. His latest EP, “The Hope of My Soul,” is a 12-track sonic experience that will immerse you in hope and uplift your soul with its soulful vibes.
MAJOR. is in Detroit as a featured artist for Deitrick Haddon’s Homecoming Live Recording and we talked about why it’s a “don’t miss” event and we turned the conversation about his new single, “I Prayed for You (Said A Prayer).” Major originally wanted to release the song during the pandemic but is happy it is out now saying that his new “hope anthem” is a love letter to those he loves and the heart of this world to let us know that “we’re going to be alright.”
